  • Our History

  • In 1996, Birmingham Group Health Services, Inc., Bridges…A Community Support System, Inc., and Harbor Health Services, Inc. came together to form a unique and dynamic behavioral healthcare partnership to meet the emerging needs of citizens living and working in their region, while addressing the long-term challenges and opportunities presented by a continually changing healthcare environment. In 2012, BGHS and HHSI merged to create BHcare.
