BHcare is designated by the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services as the Local Mental Health Authority for the following towns:
Valley: Ansonia, Derby, Oxford, Seymour and Shelton.
Shoreline: Branford, East Haven, Guilford, Madison, North Branford and North Haven.
BHcare’s The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services provides domestic violence services for the following towns: Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Bethany, Branford, Derby, East Haven, Guilford, Hamden, Madison, Milford, New Haven, North Branford, North Haven, Orange, Oxford, Seymour, Shelton, West Haven and Woodbridge.
BHcare’s Alliance for Prevention and Wellness (formerly VSAAC) is designated as the Regional Behavioral Health Action Organization for all of DMHAS Region II and provides addiction/substance abuse prevention and education services for: Ansonia, Bethany, Branford, Chester, Clinton, Cromwell, Deep River, Derby, Durham, East Haddam, East Hampton, East Haven, Essex, Guilford, Haddam, Hamden, Killingworth, Lyme, Madison, Meriden, Middlefield, Middletown, Milford, New Haven, North Branford, North Haven, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook, Orange, Portland, Seymour, Shelton, Wallingford, Westbrook, West Haven, Woodbridge.
BHcare’s Parent Child Resource Center is a licensed Child Guidance Clinic located in Derby that provides comprehensive mental health and addiction services for children, adolescents, teens and their parents throughout the Lower Naugatuck Valley and beyond.
