• Provide a range of administrative and programmatic services to not-for-profit and healthcare organizations including project management, training and education, and solutions to increase efficiency and streamline operations.
CommuniCare agency services are primarily provided for the towns of Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Bethany, Branford, Derby, East Haven, Guilford, Hamden, Madison, Milford, New Haven, North Branford, North Haven, Orange, Oxford, Seymour, Shelton, West Haven, and Woodbridge. Emergency Mobile Psychiatric Services for adults assures a rapid response to all citizens. Combined, the communities served by CommuniCare cover a population of more than 320,000 individuals.

Following his participation in the Tobacco And Cancer Control Community of Practice through the National Council on Behavioral Health, John O’Rourke has been invited to present on Tobacco Policy changes as part of a panel entitled “Get the 4-1-1; Integrating Cancer and Tobacco Control and Prevention into CBHO’s at the National Conference on Behavioral Health in Las Vegas, NV from March 7 – 9, 2016. As part of this presentation, John will be outlining best practices in working toward developing Tobacco Policy to improve the health and wellness of behavioral health communities.
